Arthur - Fancy 6-ptr Ebony/Camphor Burl
Marcus made three cues using a remarkable batch of Camphor Burl last year. A plain merry widow, a Cocobolo/Camphor Burl six pointer, and this stunning Gabon ebony/Camphor Burl six pointer. Every time Marcus works with special woods, expectations are incredibly high—and somehow, he never disappoints.
The cue features classic six-point design, built from deep jet-black Gabon ebony paired with beautifully figured Camphor Burl. The contrast between the dark ebony and the warm, organic movement of the burl creates a look that feels elegant, mysterious, and full of depth. Camphor Burl has a unique texture and natural figure that almost appears alive under changing light, constantly revealing new layers and details the closer you study it. Like many Arthur cues, the design may appear simple at first glance, but the craftsmanship and beauty continue to unfold the longer you spend with it.
One of the true highlights of this cue is Marcus’ signature German Orchid ringwork. The rings throughout the cue are constructed from 180 individually inlaid pieces of white, black, and silver materials, all perfectly aligned with extraordinary precision. What makes the ringwork so impressive is not only the complexity of the construction, but the flawless consistency of every single inlay. Each piece is clean, sharp, and perfectly fitted, reflecting Marcus Dienst’s relentless pursuit of perfection and the German philosophy that true craftsmanship should always exceed the standard rather than simply meet it.
This cue comes with two of Marcus Dienst’s handmade low-deflection shafts, built with Arthur’s precise taper and construction philosophy. Both shafts feature Marcus’ adjustable weight balance system, allowing players to fine-tune the balance and feel of the cue to personal preference. Both shafts comes with Kaiser tips, now standard on all new Arthur cues. Developed by legendary German player Ralf Souquet, the Kaiser tip has become one of the most respected and popular cue tips in Europe today.
