Arthur Cue - The "Imperial Bloom"
This is a striking Arthur cue by Marcus Dienst that blends elegant traditional design with Arthur's unmistakable European precision and refinement. Using exotic dark cocobolo and highly figured Birdseye maple, it creates dramatic contrast between deep earth tones and warm natural color. The design feels graceful and regal without becoming overly flashy, carrying the kind of understated sophistication that has become a signature of Arthur Cues.
The level of craftsmanship throughout this cue is exceptional. The butt alone contains more than 300 meticulously executed inlays, showcasing Marcus Dienst’s extraordinary attention to detail and clean execution. The cue also comes complete with matching joint protectors and a matching wood extension, giving the entire set a beautifully cohesive presentation from top to bottom.
Only a very limited number of cues in this design were ever produced, each built with different wood combinations and material selections. Depending on the configuration, these cues originally ranged from approximately $19,000 to $26,000. According to Marcus, this cue was retailed at 22,5000 Euros, which is $26,000. Yes, this particular example represents the highest-tier version of the series, featuring some of the finest material selections offered within the lineup. Here is a good opportunity to buy a refinished, new condition cue at a discounted price.
What makes this cue even more special is its history. This cue was briefly owned by legendary world champion Ralf Souquet before returning to Marcus Dienst, who then fully refurbished the cue and built two brand-new 2026 RS (Ralf Souquet) model low-deflection shafts specifically for it. This is literally a new cue in every way, unless we told you its background. The condition, finish and overall presentation are exactly what you would expect directly from Marcus' shop today. However, at Cuellections, our goal is always to provide collectors with the best knowledge and transparency possible regarding the history and background of every cue we offer. So, here is a great opportunity to get a new cue at a discounted price.
Both handmade low deflection shafts feature Marcus’ newest adjustable weight balance system, allowing players to fine-tune the balance and feel of the cue to personal preference. The shafts are also fitted with Kaiser tips, now standard on all new Arthur cues. Developed alongside Ralf Souquet, the Kaiser tip has quickly become one of the most respected and widely used premium cue tips in Europe today.
