The first thing that grabs your attention is the incredibly creative “bridged box” design in the butt sleeve. I’ve seen a lot of custom cues over the years, and honestly, I’ve never seen anything quite like this before. Instead of using a traditional box inlay layout, Bob completely reimagined the concept and created this flowing bridged structure that gives the cue incredible depth and movement. It almost feels architectural. The design is bold and artistic, but still clean and balanced at the same time.
The cue is built from rich jet-black ebony paired with beautifully figured Sapele, and the contrast between the two woods works perfectly. The fine silver, Paua Abalone, and Ribbon Abalone inlays absolutely come alive under light, adding flashes of color and detail throughout the cue. The vivid veneers around the bridged boxes and points give the whole design even more dimension and make every section pop visually without feeling overdone.
The craftsmanship throughout the cue is exactly what you would expect from Bob at this level. The super tusk joint and matching butt cap add a classic high-end touch, while the ringwork is clean, intricate, and perfectly executed. Every detail flows naturally into the next.
