This masterpiece, appropriately named "The Pinnacle", represents exactly what has made Jerry McWorter one of the most respected names in American cue making for decades: bold design, flawless execution, and a deep understanding of how to balance artistry with playability.
Built around a jet-black ebony forearm and butt sleeve, the cue immediately carries a powerful visual presence. Against the dark ebony, the red-dyed maple burl absolutely comes alive. The burl sections almost appear to flow under light, with natural movement and figure flowing through the wood beneath the rich crimson dye. The contrast between the deep black ebony and the vivid red burl gives the cue an aggressive, high-performance look without ever feeling excessive.
One of the details that truly elevates this cue is the use of Elphoryn throughout the design. Every white element on the cue is crafted from Elphoryn, providing a crisp, clean contrast that sharpens the geometry of the inlays and points. Combined with Jerry’s signature precision, the inlay work feels incredibly sharp and deliberate from every angle. The layered point work and intersecting patterns create constant movement throughout the cue, giving it a very dynamic appearance in person.
